Lesson 1: Unboxing and Setup

Objective: Guide team members through unboxing and setting up their Insta360 X4.

1. Unboxing

Open the Dive Bundle Carefully:

Remove the Insta360 X4 Dive Bundle from the packaging without damaging the box or components.

Identify All Components:

Lay out the following items for reference:
- Insta360 X4 camera
- Protective dive case
- Charging cable
- Battery
- Lens cap
- User manual

2. Battery and Charging

Insert the Battery:

Open the battery compartment on the Insta360 X4.
Insert the battery, ensuring it is securely in place.

Charge the Device Fully:

Connect the charging cable to the camera and a power source.
Allow the battery to charge completely before first use.

Confirm Charging Status:

Check the LED indicator on the camera to confirm the device is charging.

3. Power On and Settings

Power On the Camera:

Press and hold the power button until the camera powers on.

Access the Settings Menu:

Use the camera’s touch screen to navigate to the settings menu.

Set Up Language, Date, and Time:

Select your preferred language, and adjust the date and time settings to match your local time zone.

4. Accessories Setup

Attach the Lens Cap:

Place the lens cap on the camera to protect it when not in use.

Secure the Camera in the Dive Case:

Open the protective dive case and carefully place the camera inside.
Ensure the case is sealed tightly to prevent water leakage.

Mount the Camera:

Attach the camera to your preferred accessory, such as a tripod or selfie stick.
